John is President/CEO of Sky Resort Management responsible for the overall management and the marketing of the company’s hotels and resorts.
Over 25 years of travel industry experience including Resort property management, and Florida owner-based condominium hotel management. John’s network of business, community contacts, extensive knowledge of sales in the Orlando travel industry, and experience in Florida condominium Resort operations all contribute to SKY Resort Management’s success. John enjoys a well-deserved reputation in the industry for effective management, and client-oriented professionalism.
Early in his career, John worked for Marriott, managing restaurants; upscale lounge operations, as well as directing several food and beverage operations. He has gained a good working knowledge of many hotel brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Radisson, Holiday Inn Sunspree Resorts, Embassy Suites, and Holiday Inn Hotels.
Throughout his career, John has held positions of Director of Food & Beverage, Corporate Food & Beverage Director, General Manager, District General Manager, Director of Renovation & Design, and Director of Resort Operations. He has been recognized for his participation in the development of yield management programs, outstanding achievements increasing REVPAR, and profitability at his hotels. Before creating and developing Sky Resort Management, John was President and CEO of Integra Resort Management, a condominium hotel management company with properties in Orlando and Daytona Beach.
John has been the recipient of several quality excellence awards from franchisers and was honored with his local chamber of commerce “Member of the Year” award. Special focus on guest services combined with effective marketing programs has been the hallmark of his properties.
Hanoi has over 16 years experience in many facets of the travel and hospitality industry to include Sales, Marketing and Yield Revenue Management.
Early in her career she worked for Sheraton holding several positions in the different areas of the property to include, purchasing, group sales and reservations. Hanoi also held positions in the Sales and Marketing, Reservations and Revenue Management fields for the third largest hotel company in Europe, Sol Melia Hotels & Resorts and Food & Beverage positions at Walt Disney World.
Throughout her career, Hanoi has held positions as Director of Sales, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, Sales Manager, Corporate Sales Manager, Reservations Manager, Revenue Manager, Catering Manager and Group and Conventions Coordinator.
Hanoi received a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management at a prestigious University in the Caribbean.
Hanoi Burgos is also an active Real Estate professional, member of the Florida Association of Realtors and the Osceola County Association of Realtors.
Her overall experience in the hospitality industry, combined with her previous experience as Regional Director of Sales for five important hotels in Florida, is a great asset for any hospitality organization seeking to develop and improve its overall sales operations. Her original approach to sales operations and solid belief in pro-active selling, transforms into a significant difference in the overall economic results of our clients and owners alike.
Born and educated in England UK, Sandy has worked in Sales & Marketing and Operational leadership positions for Hong Kong & Shanghai Bank UK, Virgin Holidays Worldwide, Access USA and Integra Resort Management.
With 15 years in the Hospitality Industry Sandy is recognized as a Sales, Marketing and Management leader with expertise in Global revenue generation through all Domestic & International distribution Channels. Sandy has held varying positions throughout her Career to include Regional Director of International Sales & Marketing, Regional Manager Virgin Holidays, Customer Relations & Client Welfare Manager, and Resort Manager & Senior Account Manager.
Sandy’s combined extensive experience in Condominium Management and Owner Relations gives her a unique understanding of all the many different aspects and sides of our business. During her 15 years in the hospitality Industry Sandy also spent time setting up and implementing an efficient overseas Customer Relations & Client Welfare department which provides for a very solid background of knowing what the customer wants and the most cost effective ways of providing that.
With memberships and active involvement in all key Tourism Bodies to include Committee Member of the Orlando Convention & Visitors Bureau and on the Board of Directors for British American Chamber of Commerce, Sandy is a well know in the community and participates in many local initiatives to enhance both tourism and Travel experienced by our International Visitors.
Gary began his hospitality career in upstate New York with the Howard Johnson Company, and for nearly 20 years successfully managed properties in New York and Connecticut. During this time he was designated Regional Training Manager and was awarded “Manager of the Year” on five separate occasions.
Later, as a district manager in the Northeast, Gary was responsible for the operation of 12 hotel properties. Focus on brand standards, RevPar, cost controls, and ongoing development of staff helped bring about positive financial results. He had further success as a district manager and Vice President of Operations overseeing a group that included resort properties, long-term stay hotels and condominium hotel properties.
Gary has extensive experience with many brands such as Radisson, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Howard Johnson, Ramada and Guest House International. The hotels he has managed include full service beach resorts, airport properties, limited service hotels, highway properties, corporate hotels and condominium hotels. Several of his managed hotels have won quality assurance awards and training award recognition. His local chamber of commerce honored Gary as its “Member of the Year”.
Gary’s unquestioned loyalty to ownership, commitment to the complete satisfaction of each guest and genuine commitment to staff development has been his keys to driving profitability.
Gary possesses years of experience in various aspects of the hotel industry, including operations and financial accounting. Gary is responsible for the overall cash management, accounts receivables, accounts payables, owner accounting and financial reporting.
Randy has over 16 years of experience in resort management. His experience in all facets of resort operations and sales including positions as Chief Engineer, Director of Sales and Marketing and General Manager combined with a previous career path in the Banking Industry provides Randy with a unique skill set to successfully direct the management of any resort project. Randy has successfully managed multiple Hotel General Managers and "Front of the House" departments emphasizing in guest relations and asset maintenance.
Additionally, Randy has directed all back office operations for hotels including payroll, human resources, accounts payable, purchasing, accounting, computer/software management and capital project management. Additionally, Randy can design and manage local area computer networks for each managed project in order to provide as much real time access from the central offices as possible. Randy has managed hotels as small as 154 units and as large as 1020 units including Food and Beverage operations and was a member of the opening team for an 810 room convention hotel.
His extensive background in many areas provides you with an excellent resource for all aspects of the management and ultimate success of your investment.
Randy attended Houston Community College and Texas A & M University.
Anne oversees Sky Resort Management’s daily operations, daily rate and inventory management. Additionally Anne is responsible for the overall management of the electronic and global distribution channels.
Anne brings to Sky Resort Management 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Holding important positions in reservations, front desk, night audit and sales and working for well known companies such as Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan, JHM Hotels brand Hampton Inn, Orlando Orange County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, Sierra Suites, Ramada and Hawthorn Suites.
Anne’s versatility, and dedication to the hotel industry combined with her solid experience in yield and revenue management makes her a valuable asset to the Sky Resort Management Team
Anne Bush has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, and an associate’s degree in Hotel & Resort Management.
Gina, as a native of Florida, has over 20 years experience in many facets of the travel and hospitality industry to include Sales, Marketing and Operations.
Early in her career she worked for Holiday Inn, La Quinta, Hampton Inn and Baymont Inns holding several positions in the different areas of the properties. Throughout her career, Gina has held positions as Director of Sales, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, National Sales Manager and Corporate Sales Manager.
Gina attended Valencia Community College.
Her overall experience in the hospitality industry, with her many contacts throughout the business community give her the invaluable insight into the needs of corporate travelers. Gina’s experience as Regional Director of Sales has proven to be an asset for Sky Resort Management.
As a proven sales leader, her aggressive, fresh approach to sales operations and solid belief in pro-active selling, transforms into a significant difference in the overall economic results of our clients and owners alike. Gina’s knowledge in the Central Florida Corporate Market is significant asset that will also contribute to the continued success of Sky Resort Management.
Inger is the Purchasing Manager for Sky Resort Management.
Born in Orange County, California and attended “Mount San Antonio College” for Sign Language Interpreting. She moved to Orlando, FL in 2004 as an Operations Manager for Shadow Transportation.
Inger possesses years of experience in various aspects of management and operational skills within several organizations with diverse backgrounds.
Inger’s commitment to excellence and perseverance are attributes to quality control that provide the foundation needed for success. Inger is responsible for the Procurement of goods and services at the best possible total cost, in the right quantity and quality, at the right time, in the right place for the direct benefit or use of properties.
Michael oversees Sky Resort Management’s Reservations Call Center’s daily operations.
Michael brings 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry to Sky Resort Management. Mike has held positions in Accounting, Human Resources, and as a General Manager. Mike has worked for Quorum Hotels and Summit Hotels before joining the Sky Resort Management team. Mike has worked with Holiday Inn, Hampton Inns, and Hawthorn Suites franchises.
Mike’s ability to motivate and train others, combined with his dedication make him a valuable asset to the Sky Resort Management Team
Mike has a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management degree from the University of Central Florida.
Laurie is the Director of Human Resources of Sky Resort Management and is responsible for the management of the Human Resource Department for the company’s resorts.
Laurie has over 10 years of experience in human resource management. Her experience throughout her career includes working for American Bankers Insurance Group, SunTrust Bank, HotelBeds Accommodation & Destination Services as well as the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.
With an extensive human resources administration and guest relations background, Laurie oversees all aspects of hiring, benefits and payroll administration for Sky Resort Management as well as providing administrative support directly to the President/CEO.
Laurie was nominated for the “Partners in Excellence” award while at the Walt Disney World Resort and has been recognized for her dedication and outstanding achievements throughout her career.
Laurie attended both Miami-Dade and Tallahassee Community College, studying Business Administration/Human Resources Management.
Maria is responsible for Owner Relations at all of Sky Resort Management’s properties.
Maria has over 20 years of experience in owner relations, guest relations and corporate tour and travel. Her experience throughout her career includes working for Island Trees Corporate Travel & Tourism and Futures Corporate Travel & Tourism.
With an extensive guest relations and corporate travel account coordinator background, Maria oversees all aspects of owner relations. Maria’s role includes the correspondence and administration duties relating to unit owners.
Maria has been recognized for her ongoing dedication and outstanding achievements throughout her career.
